Can I customize the rental button?
Not in the Lite version. But if you buy Basic or Pro, then you can change button colors, hover effects, and text in the plugin settings without coding.
What payment methods are supported?
PayPal and Credit Cards is supported for secure and easy rentals.
How long does a rental last?
In the Lite version (which is free) you can only set ONE fixed rental duration for all media rentals.
In Basic or Pro (licensed) you can choose to use a fixed or individual rental duration. The expiration is set with a cookie and when that expires, the rental also expires. This is handled automatically.
How do I set the price on my media files?
In the Lite version (which is free) you can only set ONE fixed price for all media rentals.
In Basic or Pro (licensed) you can choose to use a fixed or individual rental price per media file.
Can I see who has rented my media?
Yes, in all versions you have a Rental log. In Basic or Pro you can download the logs as a CSV file.
What video player does the plugin support?
It works with most media players and it MUST be able to generate shortcode. Because you use that shortcode to generate the Rental button.
Can I use YouTube or other url as rental media?
Yes, you can add a URL into the shortcode generator. So it supports YouTube, Vimeo etc.
Does it work with all themes?
Yes, Pay-To-View Lite is designed to work with most WordPress themes without requiring custom code.
